Online Databases for Library Card Holders
Nolo Self_Help Law Books Online
Placer County Library now offers online versions of NOLO self-help
law books. Presently, these are available only at branch libraries.
Staff is working on remote access, which will soon be available.
Novelist Database
Novelist is a fiction database that provides subject heading access,
reviews,annotations and more for over 120,000 fiction titles.
It also includes content of interest to fiction readers, such as
Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature
Articles.
Tumble Talking Books Library
Tumble Talking Books are for children and can be read over the
Internet. Click on the Tumblebooks logo to listen to a favorite
story.
The Elton B. Stephens Company Research Databases
Full-text magazine articles and more, available to Placer County
