- Robin mentioned it'd be nice to have another public station. Mary will look into facilities assistance & possibly a refurbished PC being available. FHFOL passed a motion to fund up to twelve-hundred dollars if needed.

- The Summer Book Sale will be August 7, starting @ 8 AM. Sign-ups & publicity to be coming up.
- Emails list seems to be working as all in attendance had received their reminder
- Book sale room/ All going well-See Treasurer's Report: Item C above
- Marcia reported on the excellent participation of 300 patrons @ the April Art Show. She & others are considering moving it to Summer & possibly work more w/ the library system. The schools Art Programs are being drastically budgeted down & this will help keep Art involved in the community & help showcase the library to possible others in the public sector
- The next FHFOL meeting is July 8
- The next beautiful Quilt generously donated by Nancy Scheer is on display in the library w/ donation tickets available. Volunteers are needed to help showcase this beauty @ upcoming local community events. The first one up is the Chamber of Commerce soiree on May 22.
- The On-line newsletter was not discussed, however the library's new monthly column written by Robin for the Messenger was shared & lauded
Steve reported of a recent meeting w/ Placer County Facilities Services. He was surprised to find a misunderstanding regarding our community's interest in the PCWA property, soon to be available, for a new library. It seems to be being disregarded. Steve was surprised, as most thought this was a work in progress, albeit at the preliminary stage. He asked the FHFOL if there was any of our concern he was unaware of. None was given. Steve had prepared a letter for Facilities Services expounding on the win-win upcoming situation. It was suggested & Steve agreed, to meet w/ Mark Parker before the letter was passed on. The FHFOL also approved of Steve making a presentation to the Forum the first week in June. Robert reported of a State matching fund for community projects w/ dual use. He will follow up as this is also helpful fodder for our new library endeavors.
Meeting Concluded & Closed @ 7:55 PM
